Thanks for your support over the past year as without you guys planting trees with us there would be no Teaghlach Wood. We have high hopes for 2010, and with your help we can continue to grow support for our woodland projects and get lots of trees planted!

Sorry that is has been so long since the last edition of The Branch, but as you are about to find out we have been busier than ever with the second stage of Teaghlach Wood and also getting our memorial Woodland, The Whispering Wood ship shape for visitors!

I really hope that you all enjoy this edition of The Branch.

Trees4Christmas

Staying with the Christmas theme, Trees4Christmas is our annual special offer to businesses to try and encourage them to send Christmas e-cards rather than the real thing. This year we roped in some of the children from The Tree Amigos (our primary schools environment project) to come up with the template designs!

This year some of our supporters thanked their customers by planting then Trees in Teaghlach Wood.

Our woodland projects...

Teaghlach Wood

Stage two of Teaghlach Wood is well under way. The deer fencing has just been completed and the new section of hill is now stock and deer proof. The mounding has been done and all we need to do now is plant plant plant!

The Whispering Wood

Our memorial woodland is becoming a very special place indeed. Our latest batch of plaques are now marking their trees and is really is a joy to wander through and read the various messages.

The wood is designed to be a tranquil place and this is epitomised by mixing memorial messages in with the more celebratory ones.

We will make sure the moment and message lasts forever.
