Dear [NAME],
Welcome to TREEmendous News!
While it has been a poor summer for barbecues, it has been a fabulous summer for growing trees. And the 4,000 that we planted in March are all doing very well indeed!
Thanks to your interest and support we aim to plant a further 100,000 during 2009. We wish you all the very best during the festive period, and hopefully our Whispering Wood (below) will prove to be a popular present choice this Christmas.

The Tree Amigos
We launched our primary schools environment project this week with 5 Edinburgh Primary schools; Cramond, Clermiston, Hillwood, Ratho and Kirkliston all taking part.
Many thanks to BAA Communities Trust who are providing some welcome funding to help make this project a reality. The project is supported by a website www.thetreeamigos.co.uk where the schools can upload information about what they are doing to combat climate change. Many thanks to Gallus Media - the 'GREEN' web development company for their support.
Tree Planting Days
The tree planting season started in October and will now continue through to March/April time. So far this year we have enjoyed some fantastic 'Dirty Hands Days' and we would like to thank Unilever, PWC, Hello Scotland and Festival Inns for their enthusiasm!
We look forward to welcoming HBOS on the 16th December!
