South Lanarkshire College planted 10 trees in Teaghlach Wood for John Swinney MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth as a thank you for opening of their Low Energy House, on Tuesday 1st December 2009.

Planting trees is a great way to commemorate an event or special occasion. Already this year Grahan + Sibbald have planted trees to celebrate their 50th anniversary, the Singapore St Andrew's Society have planted 175 trees to celebrate their milestone and many more of you have planted trees for your own special reasons.

Whatever the reason may be it is very much appreciated by all of us at Trees4Scotland – without you there would be no Teaghlach Wood.
