If you live in a city and tried to see the recent meteor shower then you were no doubt disappointed. Where The Light Brigade comes in is to increase the awareness of unnecessary light pollution. Increasing awareness There are so many buildings that are lit up at night unnecessarily and this project aims to engage the general public to identify them so that the businesses in question can be contacted about cutting it down and in turn saving themselves money by reducing their energy consumption. The ethos of the project is inclusion and it aims to bring the general public and the business community together in the fight against climate change. The project is currently in its early stages with a website to go live soon. Angus will be keeping those of you who are interested updated through The Branch.
