Judy Lowstuter, runs a tour company based in Virginia, USA, specialising in bringing tours over to Scotland. In particular she runs “Outlander Tours” to connect the writer Diana Galbandon’s fans with the beautiful story of Jamie and Claire, as well as the haunting history and dramatic beauty of the country.

She is an ambassador for Trees4Scotland! So this year her group of Diana Galbandon’s fans have purchased 10 trees to be planted in Teaghlach Wood. Judy tells us that Diana is thrilled with the gesture, “She was over the moon when I told her about this idea of planting the trees as a gift. AND Diana was one of the guest authors at the Gathering and even got to go into Parliament with the Clan Chiefs, so I KNOW that this will mean a lot to her.”

Diana’s books are known as Cross Stitch in the UK and as The Outlander series over in the states. If you have not done so already – her books are well worth a read. Perhaps Diana will also become a Trees4Scotland ambassador – watch this space…
